Something very scary happened just now. I was in the lunch room, going for a cup of tea, or actually a glass of tea. So I took a large, thick edged glass and put it in the coffee machine and pressed the HOT WATER button and waited.
SHQUAING!
The glass broke in two perfect halves. No shards flew anywhere, just two large pieces of glass. One of the halves was actually still standing in the coffee machine. And, naturally, a guy had his computer bag just underneath it, so it was drenched in hot water. No harm done, though, thank God.
I re-published Evershore on Fefo last night. One reader. ONE READER!! I'm used to fifty! Crap... Perhaps I have to start writing corny love stories about Sirius and Remus in Swedish to have people read my stuff. GAH! Maybe I could polish up LLS... Yeah, might do that. I'm also gonna (try and) study some French tonight, and draw some Evershore comic book frames. I seriously need a scanner.
I repainted an old ... thingy ... yesterday. It's like a painting, only it's made out of ceramic, the subject already there for you to color. I had painted it when I was 10, pretty good for a 10-year-old but I really love it and wanted to make it look properly done. Too bad I didn't take a picture before I started painting... Ah well. It might just turn up on DeviartART tonight.
I'm thinking about applying for a job at Glenn Miller Café here in Stockholm. Would I do good as a waitress? Glenn Miller's is a jazz bar, and it's only the owners who work there at the moment. They say on their website that they're looking for people, and if that's the case, they've been understaffed since I was there with Christian last winter. It might just be worth a try. And it might just give me some extra cash. It's just that I need the extra cash before I go to Paris. But, the working hours at Glenn Miller's are 5PM to 1AM Mon-Thur and 5PM-2AM Fri-Sat. Might be hard, but I bet it could be worth it. I think I'm gonna try, actually. I'll call them today on the bus home.
Yes, buses. The subway is driving me CRAZY over here. They have some trouble between the second to last stop and the last stop, which is where I live, so that distance is replaced by a bus. They SERIOUSLY think that the people on an entire subway train could fit in ONE bus! They are out of their effing minds!!! -sigh-
